I know a lot of my readers use Outlook in an Exchange environment. Those of you that use Outlook’s task list will be pleased to note that iOS 5 now supports wireless syncing of Exchange tasks using ActiveSync. Apparently iOS is third to the mobile task syncing party behind WebOS and Symbian, while Windows Phone 7 and Android still lagging.
While nice to see the feature, I think there are much better task management applications than what is provided by Outlook. I am currently experimenting with the new Reminders app in iOS 5 and plan to report on it from a lawyer’s perspective in a few weeks.
